School staff will introduce parents to our kindergarten programs and be available to answer any questions. We are offering both an in-person and online format. Please pick the format that works best for you that evening.

18:30-19:15 In-Person at the School -*Please do not bring children to the in-person presentation.
19:45-20:15 Online with Google Meet (the link has been emailed to families already enrolled)

BGSD eBooks

We would like to remind students and parents that BGSD libraries have over 1000 digital ebooks and audiobooks covering all grades accessible by all students from any location. Please check out the Virtual Library for instructions and guides to access from anywhere with a BGSD account.

There is also a Destiny Discover App, students can install the app on a device and access all of our digital ebooks and audiobooks. Open the app and pick your province and school then log in with your google account.

Provincial Achievement Tests

Provincial Achievement Tests (PATs) are administered annually to all Alberta students in grades 6 and 9.

Below is the test schedule for our school.

Tests will be administered in the morning for ÉCVS students currently attending “in-class”.
Punctuality is important for all students. Students in grades 6 and 9 are asked to make extra effort to ensure that they are on time to avoid interuptions during the tests.
ÉCVS students currently enrolled in grades 6 or 9 Distance Learning (DL) are asked to complete the exam at ÉCVS on the same day in a supervised space separate from “in-class” students and comfortably distanced from other students.
Families of students in DL are asked to complete this form to confirm participation.
