Halloween at ÉCVS
Students are welcome to dress-up and wear costumes to school on October 30th. Students are still required to wear a non-medical mask while wearing their costumes.
- Please make sure that your child’s costume is appropriate for school and respectful of all ages and the diversity of our school community.
- Please do not bring costumes with any real or fake weapons.
If you have any questions about the appropriateness of a costume, please ask your child’s teacher. We will do our best to share photos (respecting FOIP) so you can see your child’s class on Halloween.
Following AHS COVID-19 guidelines, shared food should not be consumed at school.
We are not encouraging parents to send treats to school to share on Halloween, but students may bring treats that are factory packaged provided that they are not consumed at school and respect any food allergies in the classroom. We will let students know that any treats received must be brought home for their parents to clean (see link), inspect, or limit as they see fit. Please reinforce this message with your child tonight.
Have a safe and happy Halloween!

Let’s share the Silver Linings!
A Message from your Black Gold School Trustee for Beaumont:
Hi Parents, Staff and Students,
In this unprecedented year of COVID-19 and shutdowns and school closures, we think it’s important to find the silver linings amidst it all.
Maybe in spite of what 2020 has looked like, you have developed some new habits or routines that you just might keep – maybe slowing down has given you more time to enjoy an abandoned hobby – or found a new one entirely!
What are some good news stories from your children’s school re-entry? We want to hear from you. We would love to hear them so we can share with the division and our communities.
If you have a story about how you found a Silver Lining, please share it with us.
Send us a note via [email protected].
Thank you,
Robyn Steed
