BLEU, BLANC, & ROUGE / BLUE, WHITE, RED DAY- This Friday
Students are encouraged to wear blue, red, or white (or combination of 2 or 3) on Friday, May 4th for our Grand Opening Ceremony.

PLAYGROUND BUILD
Playground construction resumed on Monday with our volunteers. A big “thank you” to our volunteers. We are still looking for people who can spare some time this week. Construction will continue for the next 2 days..

HATS ON! FOR MENTAL HEALTH

On May 2, 2018, Albertans are invited to wear a hat to raise awareness of the importance of good mental health. Students and staff are encouraged to wear hats to school.

SPRING OPEN HOUSE FOR NEW STUDENTS

Students who will be new to Champs Vallée during the 2018-2019 school year are invited to our Spring Open House on May 28th from 6:00 to 6:30 P.M.

FAMILY MATH NIGHT
Champs Vallée will be hosting a family math night for students in Kindergarten to Grade 6 on Thursday May 10th from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm. We will be learning a variety of math games which will support number recognition, place value, addition/subtraction and multiplication/division strategies based on the award winning program Box Cars and One Eyed Jacks. We encourage all family members to join in the fun!

Doors will open at 5:30pm for Tim Bits, coffee, and hot chocolate! Tim Horton’s has graciously donated all of our yummy treats for this evenings events and McDonald’s has donated coupons for our families participating.

Each family will receive a handout of all the games presented and a free take home bag of math supplies provided by our local RBC.
