Farewell!
We want to extend our warmest wishes and best of luck to Mrs. Woronuk, Mme Tasha McRae, Ms. Clarke, Mr. Brown, Mr. Kostanuick, Mrs. Bernier, Ms. Rawlings, Mr. Bowkowy, Mrs. Rodrigue and Ms. Zaremba as they embark on new adventures. Your contributions as Voyageurs over the years have been greatly appreciated, and we will miss you dearly.
EXAM SIGN OUT – Grade 7, 8 & 9
Any parents wishing to sign their student out after exams on June 24th, 25th and 26th, please complete the permission form found on PowerSchool only. Due to the volume of students leaving on those days it is extremely difficult to track absences through the office, therefore, the only absences accepted will be those authorized in PowerSchool. Teachers will be tracking early dismissals on those days.
Yearbooks
Please note that the 2023/24 yearbooks will not be delivered until the fall. Families will be notified via email when they have been delivered.
Champs Vallée Fundraising Society Update
This year, the CVFS ran several fundraisers and was able to support the school in many ways. A big thank you to the CVFS executive, hot lunch volunteers, ÉCVS staff and so many more for working hard to enrich the students’ school experience.
Thanks to all the volunteer work, donations and school community support we have raised enough money to build the shelter on the outdoor classroom. This construction will take place in late summer or fall.
The annual general meeting will take place September 16, 2024 and the fundraising society would love to hear from you. If you would like to get involved or just want to stay informed, please consider attending the monthly meetings.
Stay tuned next year as the Fundraising Society continues to support the ÉCVS community.
Student and Parent Portal
As teachers begin to enter grades and comments for the June Student Progress Reports, the availability for parents and students to view grades in PowerSchool will be disabled on Friday, June 7, 2024.
Parents and students will no longer have access to view grades in PowerSchool after June 7. Access to view grades will be enabled in the PowerSchool after the delivery of the progress reports.
If you require information regarding your child’s progress, please contact the teacher directly.

To assist with staffing and classroom planning, please notify the office if your child will not be attending ÉCVS for the upcoming school year.
School Supply Ordering for the 2024/2025 School Year is now open!

*Orders placed before June 1st, will be delivered to the school the last week of June and sent home with your child.
Alternatively, you can have the supplies shipped to your home for a flat fee of $10 per family order.

Spring Weather
Please pack an extra pair of pants and socks in your child’s backpack. As spring weather begins, there are many wet and muddy areas on the playground and we often have students coming in requesting a change of clothes.
It is also a great time to ask your child(ren) if their indoor shoes still fit, are in good condition, or need to be replaced.
Please apply sunscreen and insect repellent at home.
Please label sun hats, sunglasses, etc. with your child’s name.
