École Champs Vallée School Start-Up Schedule Released

Black Gold Regional Division No. 18 and École Champs Vallée School are excited to announce that the start up schedule (see attached) for the new school has been released at December’s Regular Board Meeting.

Opening day with students and staff has been scheduled for February 20, 2018, right after the Family Day weekend. Students at École Champs Vallée School and École Bellevue School will not have school on February 16, 2018 to accommodate staff moving their learning materials over to the new school. Families that are currently using Black Gold transportation/buses will receive transportation information via email from the Division’s Transportation Department by the end of January.

Thank you to all of our École Champs Vallée School families and community members for your collaboration, support and flexibility in leading the Division’s first ever school within a school. The Division and our school could not have completed this process as effectively as we have, without your support and hard work.

February 16th Hot Lunch Change

The hot lunch scheduled for this day, will be moved to Thursday, February 15th.

 

Student School Supplies

On February 15th students will be provided with a reusable bag to pack their school supplies.  The bags were generously provided by Wee Love Baby Boutique in Summerside.  Students can bring their supplies in the bags to the new school on February 20th.

 

Open House-Save the Date

We will plan to have an Open House for students and parents on the evening of February 13th.  More details will be sent out as they become available.
