September 29th (Day 2):
- No Kindergarten classes
- Orange Shirt Day
- Gr 8 Boys and Girls Game (TBD)
- Gr. 9 Girls and Boys Volleyball Practice - 7:00 am
September 30th (No School):
- National Day for Truth and Reconciliation - Schools Closed
October 1st (Day 4):
- Gr 8 Boys Practice 3:15 (Pending no Sr Home Game)
- Pizza Day for Junior High Students who ordered.
October 2nd (Day 5):
- Hot Lunch - McDonald’s for students who ordered.
- Visit ecvs.hotlunches.net to place your order for future hot lunches.
School News
With over 1000 people at the school each day, your help is appreciated to facilitate safe drop-offs and pick-ups.
Ways to assist:
- Please do NOT go straight across the road out of the drive-thru, as it blocks vehicles behind you.
- Follow the direction of our crosswalk supervisors
- If using the drive-through, follow the direction of the green arrows during peak times
- Do not park in the no-parking zones across the street from the school
- Do not block the driveways of neighbouring residents
- Review bike, scooter, and pedestrian safety with your child
- Have a planned meeting spot away from high-traffic locations
- Do not use either of the staff parking lots for drop-offs and pick-ups

Halloween Dance
Science Night
ECVS and APEGA invite you to a free Family Science Night on October 20th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm!
- What: Science and engineering experiments, demonstrations, and hands-on activities (geared toward K–6, but all ages are welcome!).
- Cost: Free! However, we ask that you RSVP so we can prepare enough materials.
- When: We are offering two start times to prevent crowding at the activity tables.
We hope you can make it!
