Elementary Flag Football

The Elementary flag football team is open to all grade 5 and 6 students (both male and female) this year. There will not be tryouts, but rather we will make teams from the kids that show interest, commitment, and sportsmanship.

On Wednesday there was a shift in the fees to make it more accessible for all students. You will need to sign the NEW permission form that states the fee is $89. If you have already paid, you will be refunded to allow for fee adjustment.

If your child has expressed interest in joining our team, please sign the permission form and pay the student fees on powerschool ASAP.

Please visit the link to access the parent letter with full information. The season starts in April, but practices will start at the end of March. Flag Football Parent letter

Kindergarten Registration is Now Open!

If you are in need of registering your child in kindergarten, please head to this page and follow the instructions.

Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up

With over 900 people at the school each day, your help is appreciated to facilitate safe drop-offs and pick-ups.

Ways to assist:

  • Follow the direction of our crosswalk supervisors
  • If using the drive-through, follow the direction of the green arrows during peak times
  • Do not block the driveways of neighbouring residents
  • Review bike, scooter, and pedestrian safety with your child
  • Have a planned meeting spot away from high-traffic locations
  • Do not use the staff parking lot for drop-offs and pick-ups

NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO EXIT STRAIGHT OUT OF THE DRIVE-THRU ZONE

Student Absences

To notify the school of an absence or to sign your child out;  please complete the ECVS: Online Absence Reporting Form

Vacations

Students are expected to attend school on scheduled school days and take holidays according to the school year calendar. If parents/guardians choose to take their child out of school at times other than school holidays, teachers will not provide work for that time. Any missed work or tests will be made up when the student returns, at the teacher’s discretion.

Relocating or Transferring Schools

Please inform the school office as soon as possible if your family is moving or transferring schools. The office staff can only accept this information from a parent or guardian, not from a student.

Teachers and administrative staff need time to update grades, generate report cards, and prepare other necessary documents for student records to ensure a smooth transition to the new school.

Updated Information

To ensure you are receiving pertinent information from the school please let the office know if you need to update your contact information including your phone numbers and email addresses.
