Kindergarten Registration is Now Open!

If you are in need of registering your child in kindergarten, please head to this page and follow the instructions.

Spare Clothes

As we transition through the wet and muddy season, we kindly ask that all students have a spare set of clothes (including socks) in their backpack each day. With the unpredictable weather and active recess play, having an extra set of clothing will help keep students comfortable throughout the day if they get wet or muddy.

2025 ECVS Elementary Soccer - Gr. 5/6 Co-ed

ECVS is excited for our upcoming elementary soccer season. If your child is interested in trying out, please read the information below and fill out this form.

Upcoming dates:

  • Meeting  for students interested on Monday, April 14th during the last recess in the field
  • Tryouts on Thursday, April 17th & 24th from 12:20-12:50 in the field
  • The team will be posted on Friday, April 25th

If your child is selected, we are registered for 2 tournaments:

  •  May 9 & 10 @ the Beaumont Rec Center and or Beaumont Comp (indoor soccer tournament)
  • June 6 & 7 @ LEDE Fields (behind the Leduc Rec Center - outdoor soccer tournament)

For each tournament, your child will be responsible for their own shoes, shorts and shin pads. You do not need indoor/outdoor soccer shoes - any type of runners will be fine. Children cannot wear cleats for the indoor tournament. Cost for the season will be $50.

Practices will be held during recess times so there will be no after school commitments other than the 2 tournaments.

For questions please contact coaches Ms. MacKay & Mme. Gill

Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up

With over 900 people at the school each day, your help is appreciated to facilitate safe drop-offs and pick-ups.

Ways to assist:

  • Follow the direction of our crosswalk supervisors
  • If using the drive-through, follow the direction of the green arrows during peak times
  • Do not block the driveways of neighbouring residents
  • Review bike, scooter, and pedestrian safety with your child
  • Have a planned meeting spot away from high-traffic locations
  • Do not use the staff parking lot for drop-offs and pick-ups

NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO EXIT STRAIGHT OUT OF THE DRIVE-THRU ZONE

Student Absences

To notify the school of an absence or to sign your child out;  please complete the ECVS: Online Absence Reporting Form

Vacations

Students are expected to attend school on scheduled school days and take holidays according to the school year calendar. If parents/guardians choose to take their child out of school at times other than school holidays, teachers will not provide work for that time. Any missed work or tests will be made up when the student returns, at the teacher’s discretion.

Relocating or Transferring Schools

Please inform the school office as soon as possible if your family is moving or transferring schools. The office staff can only accept this information from a parent or guardian, not from a student.

Teachers and administrative staff need time to update grades, generate report cards, and prepare other necessary documents for student records to ensure a smooth transition to the new school.

Updated Information

To ensure you are receiving pertinent information from the school please let the office know if you need to update your contact information including your phone numbers and email addresses.
