🎬✏️ A Creative Family Night Out with Harold and the Purple Crayon!

Grab your imagination and join us on Friday, February 20th in the Champs Vallée School gym for a magical family night out inspired by Harold and the Purple Crayon — where creativity, curiosity, and fun come to life!

🌟 Doors open at 6:00pm — arrive early to enjoy trivia, tasty treats, and time to get creative with friends before the movie begins at 6:45pm. Just like Harold, we’ll be drawing our own path to a memorable evening together.

🎟️ Tickets

  • Early Bird Food Passes: $5/person or $20/family (Max 8 ppl)
  • At the Door Food Passes: $8/person or $30/family (Max 8 ppl)
    (Includes popcorn, a juice box, and trivia fun)

🍕 Extras
Families can pre-purchase pizza and $1 vouchers for concession snacks and activities at ecvs.hotlunches.net — perfect fuel for an imaginative adventure!

⚠️ Important Notes

  • All children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Food pass required for entry.
  • Lawn chairs are welcome — please bring a blanket to place underneath to help protect the gym floor.
  • No outside food or drink permitted

To help improve the air quality indoors and out, we request that drivers in our parking lots and drive-thrus turn off vehicle engines during drop-off and pick-up.

Be Scent-sitive

We have students and staff who have allergies and sensitivities to some perfumes and strong scents. We ask that all students and staff be considerate to how strong scents may negatively affect others in shared spaces.

Ski Club at Rabbit Hill, Grades 5-9 

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We have our last ski club date! This is an after school event. Please sign in to Powerschool to sign-up and pay for your child to participate in Ski Club for Thursday, March 5, 2026. The deadline to register for the March 5th ski day is Monday,  the 2nd.

Schedule:

Depart ECVS by bus at 3:45pm to Rabbit Hill

Meet in the chalet at 8:10pm 

Depart Rabbit Hill at 8:30pm back to ECVS, arriving by 9pm

Students must have these mandatory items :

Helmet - all ECVS club participants MUST wear a helmet when skiing/snowboarding (can be rented)

Proper clothing - snow jacket, snow pants, gloves

Food - bagged lunch or money to purchase food from the cafeteria

The Terrain Park is OFF LIMITS

If a parent/guardian is able to volunteer their time at the hill AND/OR help transporting equipment with a truck from the school to the hill on these ski days, please email :[email protected]

Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up

With over 900 people at the school each day, your help is appreciated to facilitate safe drop-offs and pick-ups.

Ways to assist:

  • Please do NOT go straight across the road out of the drive-thru as it blocks vehicles behind you.
  • Follow the direction of our crosswalk supervisors
  • If using the drive-through, follow the direction of the green arrows during peak times
  • Do not block the driveways of neighbouring residents
  • Review bike, scooter, and pedestrian safety with your child
  • Have a planned meeting spot away from high-traffic locations 
  • Do not use the staff parking lot for drop-offs and pick-ups

Pink Shirt Day

Pink Shirt Day is an anti-bullying initiative that supports kindness and healthy self-esteem.  Show your support by wearing a pink shirt on February 25.

If you want to have the shirt sent home on Feb 23, select SHIP TO STORE at checkout.  Any orders that are not picked up from the store will be brought to ECVS on Feb 23 to be sent home.
