School Supply Lists for 2026-2027

Families, you can now purchase your child's school supply kits directly from School Start (our official online school supply kit company for your convenience). The supply list for each grade is attached. You may also utilize the same list to purchase your supplies locally. Remember, with School Start's online ordering option you can purchase parts of the additional section if your child already has supplies that are in good order from a previous year - please save money and the environment.

If you order early, you will be entered in one or more contests! Please see the attached Parent Letter for those incentive details.

To order, families can go directly to: https://schoolstart.ca/, and click on the following:

- Parents Shop Here

- Purchase School Supply Kits

- Select Province, then City, then School

- Click "Here to Purchase"

- Lastly, click on your child's grade and proceed from there

If you need any assistance, please contact School Start at 1-800-580-1868 or via email at info@schoolstart.ca.

We are excited to be able to offer this convenient option to you this year.

Ways to assist:

  • Please do NOT go straight across the road out of the drive-thru as it blocks vehicles behind you.
  • Follow the direction of our crosswalk supervisors
  • If using the drive-through, follow the direction of the green arrows during peak times
  • Do not block the driveways of neighbouring residents
  • Review bike, scooter, and pedestrian safety with your child
  • Have a planned meeting spot away from high-traffic locations
  • Do not use the staff parking lot for drop-offs and pick-ups

Alberta Health Services Note

Children who are eligible for immunizations may be immunized in the school setting with parent/guardian consent. Please check your child’s school bag for a package which contains information about the vaccines, along with a consent form for each vaccine.  For your child to be immunized in school, consent must be provided to AHS staff verbally or each consent form must be signed and returned to your child’s school by the date indicated on the envelope.

For tips on preparing your child for immunizations, please refer to https://www.immunize.ca/pain-management-kids-and-adolescents

If there is a signed consent from a previous year and your child has an incomplete immunization series, Alberta Health Services may provide these immunizations.

The immunization round date at Ecole Champs Vallee is May 21, 2026.

*If your child is not present on the round date they may receive immunizations on other dates throughout the school year.

***If you are new to Alberta OR if your child has been immunized at your doctor’s office or pharmacy, AHS Public Health may not have a record of your child’s immunizations.  To ensure your child is up to date with all recommended immunizations refer to the schedule at https://www.alberta.ca/immunization-routine-schedule.aspx

To provide an up-to-date immunization record or if you have any questions, you may contact the nurse assigned to your child’s school at 780-980-5026
