February 22nd – Voyageurs News

SKI / SNOWBOARDING TRIPS

On March 15th Champs Vallée students in Grades 4 to 8 have opportunities to participate in ski/snowboarding excursions as part of their Physical Education curriculum.  The Grade 7 & 8 trip to Marmot Basin is sold out, but all students in grades 4 to 8 have the opportunity to register for the school trip to Rabbit Hill.  If you haven’t already registered, the deadline is February 28th.  Students not registered to attend either excursion will have a regular school day of instruction available to them at the school.

PINK SHIRT DAY – February 27th

JR. HIGH MOVIE NIGHT
Jr. High Leadership students have planned a MOVIE NIGHT for our Junior High students on the evening of Friday, March 1st. (6:00-8:30 PM).

There will be a concession (cash only) open before the movie starts, as well as during an “intermission” halfway through the movie. This movie is free and only for all Champs Vallée Jr. High students and will be a great way for the kids to connect with each other outside of school. Please note: Phones will not be allowed out during the event.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST / SEMAINE DE LA FRANCOPHONIE

A gluten-free, egg-free, or dairy-free option will be available upon request.

All students will also participate in various cultural activities throughout the week.  More information will be communicated by your child’s teacher.

LOST AND FOUND
Many lost items are collected daily and kept in containers and a clothing rack near the office in the foyer.  Please stop by the school to look for any missing items or encourage your child to look.  Teachers will also take a moment with their class to go through the items and return lost items.
